I invite the viewer into a world where chaos is curated, and structure prevails by reining in what could be seen as uncontrollable. A hopeful nod to the world we currently live in.

My work explores the intersection of color and texture. I begin each piece by hand-dyeing my fabrics, a process that allows me to infuse the surface with vibrant, intuitive color and a sense of spontaneity. These fabrics serve as the foundation for a tactile language that is uniquely my own. Embellishment plays a central role in my creative practice. I use stitched details—both subtle and exuberant—to build layers.  These stitches often feel playful and improvisational, like doodles or whispered secrets stitched into cloth.

The hand-dyeing process allows me to surrender control, inviting organic patterns and unexpected color shifts to emerge. In contrast, my stitched thread waste is random, guiding the eye and texture while never imposing strict uniformity. The organic black shape adds rhythm and order to the layers. The resulting composition captures the essence of contradiction: layered, lively, and slightly unruly—but always with intention.
