Taking inspiration from the linear playfulness of my hand dyed fabrics, I constructed a background composition by cutting apart and sewing back together three panels.  Echoing colors, following contours, enhancing shapes with additional layers of organza and hand stitching, I fostered connections and blurred boundaries.
